About Me

Hello!

My name is Kristen Hayes and I am a graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design with a MA and BFA in Animation and a minor in Interactive Design and Game Development.

I am interested in challenging opportunities as an animator or character designer in either a full-time position, a contract role, an internship, or an apprenticeship.

Design is an aspect that is very important for my work, and I try to convey the proper feeling of originality, color, shape and overall design in everything I create. I have experience with a variety of different creative programs with my most significant experience being with TVPaint, Toon Boom Harmony, and Autodesk Maya. I am also quite experienced with Adobe After Effects as well as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Toon Boom Storyboard Pro. I have worked with Adobe Animate, Substance Painter, and Unreal Engine 4.

For a few details that are less related to my work, I love animals, video games, and art in general, and there are few things better than taking a walk with nothing but your music to accompany you (luckily I've only gotten lost a few times this way). My goals include helping to develop a creative products in animation productions and/or video games, but I am up for any challenge that may come my way and have an absolute passion for my work.
